The Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is evaluating the general condition of wells and septic systems (referred to collectively as “on-site systems”) in the Glen Hills area southwest of Rockville. The study is to help develop sustainable water supply and wastewater disposal policies for these neighborhoods and follows recommendations of the 2002 Potomac Subregion Master Plan.
